Sleeping in the Jeep

Hi,
I thought I would share my pic's for how I sleep in the jeep when I go out into the wilderness.

About 3 times per year I go out hunting pigs. This trip I only had 24 hours. So wanted to pack light and sleep in the jeep.

So I took out the passenger seat (yes, on the left in Australia) it was four bolts and about 5 minutes work. I made a wooden board with legs, about 30 min. And then cut up and old mattress... It was great to sleep on. Im 6.4" and could stretch out with room to spare.

Cheers
Chad

Thank you for sharing. I am a new owner and thinking about how I might setup the interior for sleeping. I am also looking at the CrewBed | Jeep Accessories

.
That crew bed rack is interesting and only 50.00. The site does not give any detail how it attaches. One picture looks like the drivers side attached to the tailgate striker and I assume the other attaches to the tailgate. Wonder how much weight it can carry. Interesting option for long items.

I think the actual rack is like 595.00. The accessory for the rack is 50.00. Here is the description: The Crewbed Utility Rack accessory. Is a tough, lightweight easily installable extension allowing you to haul items on top of your Crewbed wielding jeep.

The 595.00 is steep but I like the idea of the tent boot over the rack. Maybe build a wood folding platform and then have the tent boot over it.
