Talk to a nearby body shop. Show them pictures of ones you like. They might offer more, might offer less. Worth it.

I am running MCE fenders and Trail Gear rocker guards. The rocker guards havent taken too much abuse...drug them a few times and all is well. They are cheap, and have held up so far. The fenders are also holding up well after two-ish years. Havent encountered any rocks or trees with them since they are narrow, but if I do they will flex and bend for days Both the rocker guards and the fenders are very budget friendly.

I just wish they made the well priced Gen1 fenders like you got there. I don't want the new ones with flares and any other no flare fender costs $500+

That's what I heard...they cancelled production on the Gen1s. However, I thought I also heard they were eventually gonna bring them back. For some reason I wanna say that I heard they were designing a one piece version of the Gen1...I can't be sure though.

They have been saying that for a while now and I have been waiting. A once piece would be cool, but the original price ($139 I believe?) was a big reason for wanting them. I just hope they don't come out and cost $300 like the Gen2 fenders.

I just don't get why they changed, the Gen1s worked fine and looked better IMO.

I think they are trying to appeal to all jeep owners...but I definitely agree with keeping the Gen1 design around (or switching to a 1 piece). I prefer the narrow look as well. Hopefully MCE puts something out soon.

Can't help you on the fender flares, haven't started emptying out my flare pocket yet! But in terms of sliders, nates 4x4. I just ordered mine so don't have personal experience with them yet, but have heard numerous reviews about all his products. Not one bad review on product, at all, just his customer service, or as you will read lack there of. Most of the negative cust serv posts are older and he has gotten much better. I ordered my front bumper from him and had it at my door in less then 3 weeks. It rock solid and great welding! And did I mention the best part, made in the US of A!!!!

Not to sure what Ur time frame is on sliders but I will have them on within a month and will have pics and personal reviews!

No time frame really. Just got the jeep Christmas eve. Just making future plans. Got a few other things to get first. (Dash wiring harness, center console, new dash, Corbeau seats, gears, locker, etc etc.)

Can't wait! Lol

Hahaha, that list only gets shorter!!! That is after it has more then quadrupled from its original amount!!!

There are a lot of great threads on here and a lot of people with a wealth of knowledge! Make sure you check it out! Always search before you ask, yet don't be afraid to ask. Keep an eye out for a thread I will be starting documenting the rear bumper, swing away and rock sliders.

And don't forget you are driving an American machine! Be sure to give it what it needs! American parts. (Unfortunately it can not be helped all the time but we can do out best)

I just received a set of E-Grilles rock sliders from my wife for Christmas. I found em on Ebay a few weeks ago for $169 with free shipping. She apparently jumped on getting em for me. What a great gift. I just took off my old nerf bars last night and will be putting those on tonight. They are about 5 times better than I ever expected for the price.
