Smart Keys

is there any way around them
My luck I only have 1 so I have to pay to get 1 programed then I can do it myself

or is there a way to disable the sensor

I mean jeeps don't even come with a steering wheel lock why the key?

As far as i know there's no way around it. Unless you take the comp. out. Then you would have to replace it with one of the same year that does not have the system.

go get your key copied at wallyworld. just tell them it is a spare for the doors. then see if it works to start it or not

there IS a steering wheel lock.

when you turn your key to ON, do you see a SECURITY light come on? if so, you'll need to get a key programmed. if not, do what redneck said.

I needed a third key to put into the remote starter. I went to key smith and he made one for $30. I thought that that was cheap.

ya tried the wally world thing runs for 10 seconds then shuts off

wish I had a second key (then there cheap off of ebay)

or maybe the motor swap should just be done now
