Smittybilt SRC Side Armour

Well I got my Smittybilt SRC Side armour today and after reading some negative reviews with fitment I was getting worried. As soon as I unpacked they were packed very well and marked passenger and sriver side. I laid them out and they were way off... after a few minutes I switch the to the opposite side and they seem to line up much better. Well I got out my jack stands lined up the passenger side scribed out the 8 holes drilled into the frame and installed the passenger side.. The fitment was very nice it looks and fits nice and snug... So far I am very impressed. all welds look great and the textured black coating is also very nice. I hope the driver side goes on as easy as the passenger side. I will see tomorrow.

Keep the forum updated with the finish on that Smittybilt rocker armor. Smittybilt's black crinkle finish has a reputation of holding up well for a year or so, then badly rusting/chipping/flaking off the bars. Hopefully they fixed whatever issue they had and it's now a moot point. And make sure you get some pics too!! We love pics!
