SmittyBuilt replacement soft top feedback

I am thinking about buying a smittybuilt soft top for my jeep.

I will be paying under $250 to have it shipped to me in NJ.

I am original hardware and full doors.

Any feedback .. would be appreciated..

I wouldn't install a Smittybilt soft top if it were given to me, not even if someone paid me to install it. They are incredibly shoddily made with a cheap and very thin fabric, not to mention that all Smittybilt tops are made in China.

What would be a good option?
I am not working and have a limited budget.

Been there so that is understandable. I would simply search all the Craigslists in areas even remotely close to you for a used OE or Bestop (Bestop makes the OE) soft top, that'll be your best bet.

when i needed a new top i was on a budget and ended up getting the pavement ends soft top with tinted windows for around $350 shipped. its not as nice as a bestop soft top but it fits nice and i am happy with it, only complaint is the zipper for the rear window, sometimes it gets stuck when putting it back on.

Bestop can't be beat,IMHO!I bought a Supertop last September off ebay for $350.00,shipped to my door, brand new and in the box!Only ran it a couple weeks last year, and when I put it back on this April, after a couple weeks one of the plastic clamps that holds the hoops together broke on me.I called Geoff @Bestop(customer service),and two days later I had the entire passenger side hoop arrangement sitting on my porch when I got home! You just can't beat that kind of customer service/warranty!
