At least on the Wrangler TJ, the ABS system is automatically disabled at speeds below 5 mph for that very reason. I somehow kept the ABS brochure that came with my '97 TJ when I bought it new and it confirms that. Though I had to disable my ABS to install the D44 axle in the rear, my ABS never gave me any issues offroad for the 6-7 years I ran it before it was disabled like so many think it will.
When you have a choice, buy American.

After I changed the 02 sensor and the dealer cleared all codes, the 1 error code reappeared.

Haha!!! Bwahahahahaaa!!!!! I called my dealer guy and he said to bring it in and they will check it out again free of charge.

Which code reappeared?

That's why the Rubicon - at least the '03, doesnt have ABS.

I knew a guy that was a cop - they ordered some new Fords as patrol cars. They had the ABS - they'd never used it before. They managed to wreck all of them quickly. Mike drove one into a store front because of it.

The way they had been driving was at a fast corner, they'd stab the brakes, kick it sideways and power through it - dirt track style. The ABS wouldn't let them break it loose === crash! They bought some more, but they all had to go to driving school to learn how to drive them.

Too computerized!

It's no wonder the country is falling apart - stupidity abounds!
