Why bother? Are they functional...........kinda seems silly to "customize" a Jeep with nonfunctional items.........

But what do I know?

those minor things make your jeep look different than the rest of them. I like how smoked lenses look, the only reason why i havent done mine is i'm going to get clear led round tails.

Yeah... the reason i want smoked though is because i am blacking out the headlight bezels, and using black bedliner on the grill... so i thought all black on the front end would look cool.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-01...spagenameZWDVW I was thinking of getting these on my black jeep, but not sure how'd they would look either, i bough a can of that spray tint and sprayed my stock yellow ones in the front to the point that they match the black paint of my car (28 coats outside and 3 coats inside) and they look REALLY good, just there not that bright during the day so it makes them a little harder to see! i'll post some pics later

actually just installed smoke lens today. i'll post pics later when i get some daylight. the previous owner used some kind of red silicone/glue stuff to keep the driver side marker on. he must of lost the metal clip. anyone use something else to hold it? i can't think of anything.

I have the smoked front turn signals from e-bay. Same quality as OEM. They include an amber bulb to use instead of the factory clear bulb with the amber lens.

I was skeptical of the light output, but I did one side, then turned them on and couldn't tell the difference. I really like them.

I personally HATE amber lenses and these are a nice cosmetic improvement in my opinion.

Like Tyler said, use VHT Nightshades.... Do the inside of the lenses if you can, and leave them lighter than you think they should be... they look darker installed in a dark hole than they do laying on white newspaper........

I'm doing it with night shades in the next couple of days while I have my fenders off. I plan on 3 light coats of night shades and 4 or 5 coats of dupli colour clear and then I will wet sand it out with 2000 and polish, should give it that shiny look
