snorkel/airbox mods needed?

Was looking into this mostly because the only real fun down here in southern georgia is river crossings! Plus they look bada$$. I really want one since my buddy hit a sink hole and now his truck is no more!! It said that with a/c to still work you need to mod the airbox? I dont really plan on always having the hood below H2O but if Id happen to drop off Id be good. I really dont know much about this setup but doesnt the kit basically delete the airbox? I searched around a lil but didnt really find much. Thanks fellas

If you buy the ARB snorkel, it adapts to the stock airbox. If you get the Volant snorkel, you will need to get their air intake system. Check their websites
