Snow Day

Had to go play in the snow today in the hills behind our house. Snowing, 16 degrees and North winds gusting to 35 MPH. Good recipe for fun!

I'm jealous. This has been the most disappointing winter in a long time for MD.

This is only the third snow for us. Had about 2" in November, and a trace in December. I guess Alaska decided to send some down to us Finally. It's been cold enough, just no moisture. Close to 12" fell here in the valley today.

Great pics! I am surprised you don't have a winch. I crused some snowy mountain hills last weekend and while I didn't need my winch, it was nice reassurance. Some of those dang hard snow ruts like to pitch ya sideways. Great fun!

Had a nice Warn 10,000# on my old International Scout when I lived in Oregon City. Used it a "lot" in the Molalla Mts. getting into a high lake or two in the Spring. I really miss that place.

Still hasn't stopped snowing and now we have a winter storm warning for Friday. Had to head into town this afternoon. The odd shape of my Jeep is from the wide angle lens I was using.

Glad to here for those of you who like snow that it seems like winter finally got here. We has another 6" yesterday, about 15" on the ground. Sun came out today and what better reason to get some pictures!

Just make your own parking spot after the plows go by.

Of course you have to plan ahead if you want to turn left.

And it does make a mess of the garage. Oh well, too much fun anyway

We finally got about 6 inches here in SE washington. its way to much fun driving around pulling all the idiots who have bald summer tires on. at least in wenatchee you guys are prepared for snow, people in my area freak out and the city shuts down... over 250 wrecks in tri citys in a two day span cuz of 6-8 inches of snow
