Snow tires for 05 Unlimited

Hello,

I am a first time jeep owner and recently purchased a 05 wrangler unlimited. I have a set of winterforce snow tires I used for my old xterra. Would you recommend I use the snow tires or will the bf goodrich all terrain tires be suffice? The winterforce tires are also size P265/70R16 and the bf tires are 50R15. Would they even fit?

Thanks-Nate

a 16" tire isn't going to fit on a 15" wheel.

I run BFG ATs all year and they are fine in snow

I used to run BFG A/T's on my S-10 but I paid extra to have them sipped. I think it makes a world of difference compared to non-sipped. That's why winter tires do so well. Stick with the BFG's. Like Unlimited said above they won't fit.

My Jeep has BFG AT's. We got a lot of snow here last year. One storm we got a couple feet of snow and the plows didn't make it to a lot of the road. I was out in the Jeep and didn't come close to getting stuck.

I ran those on my suburban and it was unstoppable.

Ice? Now that's different.
