So I decieded......

That since I have a 4 cylinder I am just going to do the rubicon 2 inch lift with 31x11.5.x15. I don't want to worry about regearing and I know I will try to buy a 2003 to 2006 rubi sooner or later. Anyone have this kit? Rubicon Express 2" Economy Kit with Twin Tube Shocks for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

I have found some cheaper. But I like that it comes with shocks. Also matches my ride.

you can buy something like this and just get whatever 2" shocks you want

Jeep Wrangler TJ / Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ 2" LIFT KIT:eBay Motors (item 260478943841 end time Sep-25-09 10:00:24 PDT)

you will probably notice a little harsher ride w/ that lift, but not bad. i didn't notice a huge difference when i did a similar lift on my xj. but anytime the control arms are pointing more at the ground, and caster is taken away, it will ride different.

Yeah but those shocks would be 200 plus no stops so its a little cheaper in the kit.

you don't have to have re shocks, they're probably made in the same factory as sky jacker, rancho and so on. there's only a handfull of manufactureres and a million stickers being put on them.

that kit may be a good price, i'm just saying make sure you can't buy the spacers, and a set of good shocks for less.

I have looked at a lot of kits. I was going to get a 3 inch and do 32s, but I know I will get something with a bigger motor sooner or later. I think 2 inches and 31s will get the job done till I get another jeep. If you come across something that looks like I can get all the same stuff for less money please post it. Thanks for your help. I will order the kit within the next week so post it soon.
