This person has been here since Sept. of last year and has had a few issues. I am cannot say for a fact, but from his post count, it does not seem that he made many inquiries about what may have been wrong with his Jeep. When I was first looking for Jeeps, I expected to spend time in the garage tinkering with things. Jeep products are kinda known for being a vehicle that requires steady maintenance. Maybe he got a Honda and will gas it up a couple of times a week as a maintenance routien. Anyway, I am kind of rambling so I agree with Spanky above that the Jeep is better off without him.

LMAO....you buy a jeep for fun and because you want to. They suck at gas mileage, rattle more then a cast iron bed at dawn, and will shake your kidneys loose if they have the right equipment on them. As far as dependability, my TJ is the most dependable and strongest 4x4 I have owned (minus my old 73 Cherokee). If a person is looking to save on gas and have a comfortable ride, then DO NOT consider a Jeep.

I don't see where kicking this guy in the butt as he leaves is necessary. Seems as though hes just saying goodbye to all.

Its posted in the TJ forum and his avi shows a TJ, so you would have to assume its a TJ.

I agree, but I am tired of people pounding on wranglers because they either did not research them or after buying a wrangler it falls beneath their expectation as a road vehicle. I guess I just snapped and ask for forgiveness.

Wranglers are an Offroad utility vehicle, No matter how pretty you make them they were designed for offroad use. This means they are not comfortable or showy by nature. (and sometimes parts fall off)

Disclaimer: no offense was meant, I am just feeling a bit grizzly.

Come on guys, we all get fed up at one point or another... He did not give details, but at times patiece can run short. The big virtue of the Wrangler is that is the only 4x4, inline 6, with live axles and dual tops left on the market. If we could get all these virtues with the reliability of a Japanese car, would you not take it? Toyota had the right idea with the FJcruiser, but they just blew it with a V6 and no removable top

Well, considering he chose to post a goodbye thread he must have wanted a response. Depending on the sort of goodbye, a certain sort of response should be expected.
