Probably not at a "battle site". At the end of WWII, we shoved jeeps, tanks, airplanes, all kinds of stuff off the ships, on the way home. Saved fuel for the trip home. And we are incredibly wasteful. And we were arrogant, figuring that there was no need for them, as there is an endless supply of materials at nearly no cost.

The Pacific ocean is littered with war debris.

Just off the coast of Espírito Santo, an island in the Vanuatu archipelago of the South Western Pacific, there is a massive underwater dump. Called Million Dollar Point after the millions of dollars worth of material disposed there, the dump is a popular diving destination, and divers report an amazing quantity of wreckage: jeeps, six-wheel drive trucks, bulldozers, semi-trailers, fork lifts, tractors, bound sheets of corrugated iron, unopened boxes of clothing, and cases of Coca-Cola. The dumped goods were not abandoned by the ni-Vanuatu people, nor by the Franco-British Condominium who ruled Vanuatu (then known as the New Hebrides) from 1906 until 1980, but by personnel of a WWII American military base named Buttons. At the end of the war, sometime between August 1945 and December 1947, the US military interred supplies, equipment, and vehicles under water. The travel writer Thurston Clarke describes the scene:

The Seabees built a ramp running into the sea and every day Americans drove trucks, jeeps, ambulances, bulldozers, and tractors into the channel, locking the wheels and jumping free at the last second. Engine blocks cracked and hissed. Some Seabees wept. Ni-Vanuatu witnessing the destruction of wealth their island would never see again, at least in their lifetimes, thought the Americans had gone mad.

so the jeep is still in the garage and its pretty chilly in there but idk if its below freezing. we got new spark plugs in it and new oil but it still wont start she just barely gets there. u can hear the video and the belt starts to turn but nothing happens.
is it just some more electronics that need to dry out or what?
we did try cranking it without spark plugs and no water shot out. if u look at the top picture no water got over the hood and im pretty sure none got into the intake but it was turned off so a bunch prob got into the exhaust im thinking.

what kinda fluid do u put in the transfer case also btw because i got mobil 1 atf+3 its a manual idk if thats what ur supposed to use or not.

is there any other way to drain any more water that might still be in there?

What did you do to revive it? You are not the first to cross a lake and it would be helpful for the next person who does the same thing.
