Soft Doors for TJ

What company's make full soft doors for TJ's and does anybody have any experience with them? I have full hard doors now and want to run softies in the summer so I can take em off and just throw them behind the seat whenever I want.

Bestop makes some...and just an FYI, they're not cheap. I looked into doing the same. They run around $500 for a pair of full soft doors.

Here's a link:
51789 - Bestop - 2 pc Soft Doors For 1997-04 Jeep® Wrangler with Factory Top, Supertop® or Sunrider® : Tellico 4x4

Shop around...you may find em cheaper, but it'll show you what we're talking about.

I used to run them on one of my other Jeeps. They're handy, but price prohibits me from buying them again.

I bought mine from JCWhitney. I don't remember how much I paid but they are less than $500, not much, but less.
Here's a link BESTOP DOOR SETS 2-PC - JCWhitney and a pic of mine.

They are not cheap, but well worth the money in the summer to go doorless, but keeping them with you.

$500 is steep...I wonder how many more Soft Doors Bestop would sell if they sold them for...$300?

I'd be buying a set if they were cheaper! Right now they'll prolly end up just getting my business for seat covers... so I can leave the Jeep in the rain doorless. lol

Hey I would even settle for some scratched returns at a heavily discounted price.

How about $429? That's the price right now at Quad.

I have to admit that I don't always even know what the prices are for some of this stuff. I just priced out Element doors, thinking that might be a less expensive option. But it looks like they're priced about the same.

I couldn't argue that they are steep. Surprised me too.

I would have bought a set along with the supertop I just ordered if they were cheaper! But they are over half the price of the supertop! That's just insane in my book!

check craigslist. i bought mine for 4wd.com and they were missing parts from bestop, while i was waiting for parts i found a pair on craigslist and went with those, which were also missing parts.

the door handles suck, my drivers side handle is still good, but the passanger side takes some finesse to open.
i bought half doors and getting rid of the soft doors soon.

i think so. try looking on craigslist or ebay, you can find some great deals on there. also one you reach 15 posts you can access and post a thread in the WTB or for sale forum.
