Soft to hard top

Can you put a hard top on a 97' TJ that came with a soft top? Sorry if this is a stupid question!

Yes you can. You need to remove the whole soft top though.

Only thing is you need to make sure you get a hard top that was made for the 97-02 range. The newer ones don't have the vents in the top that you will need.

Also, if your Jeep didn't come with hard top wiring your wiper and stuff will not work on the rear. Although I had wiring and never even connected any of it...

Everything is in the fuse box for rear defrost and wiper but I don't know if it goes to the back I'll have to go look at it!
