Smile soft top

I have a 2002 wrangler with a hard top and a soft top-if I put on soft top and take off full doors do I still need to use door surrounds-will be putting on safari doors?

The door surrounds are required for a top. Soft top, bikini whatever. Only time you don't need them is with you're hard top or with no top at all.

yes, the surrounds are needed for the full soft top. they are not necessary for some bikini/safari tops (some attach to the roll bar instead of to the surround).

if you have the soft top up and no doors, you still need the surrounds. the soft top attaches to them.

Yeah but they're not neccesary when rolling with no doors but mine's an 04 so it may be different.
I could leave them in and attach them but never do. Of cousre this way you can't attach the side windows but without doors who needs windows anyway?
