Soft top bracket destroyed!!

The jeep I"m buying has a destroyed bracket(He sent me a pic and it's a piece of metal sticking out of the tube on the middle of the car between the front and rear passengers.

He said when they stole the soft top, the just bent the metal frame part off.

Is this an easy fix? Is that metal welded or just bolted onto the cage?

Ty all. Tomorrow, if all goes as planned, I will have a new, I mean used Wranger in my driveway.

Can you post the pic?
Amy's TJ just has a hard top and my YJ frame doesn't attach to the roll cage at all.

No, no, you guys are amazingly awesome.

I am still stuck on the blue one but, let me tell you, the gold owner called me at 9PM last night and we talked for an hour about the car.

We are meeting at the bank today.

She is the original owner(Carfax verified) and the car has been in Cali for all of its life.

But, no, no, no, no, no, I am still going for the blue but there is a chance for the gold.

The blue is, let me tell you, HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it's had 4 previous owners and were from Canada and Indiana.

Sheesh guys, you guys have been awesome. I owe you guys a MUD RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a VERY simple fix that just involves 2 mounting screws that are threaded into the rollbar. You should be able to pick them up from either the dealership or a pick-n-pull.

Sorry, had some last minute jitters.

The blue one may have had more owners but it makes me gasp whenever I see it; IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
