Soft Top HELP!?!!?

I am new to the "Jeep thing", and with the recent purchase of a 1998 Sport with a hard top, I need help finding a soft top. Since there is no OEM hardware for a soft top, I need a top with hardware. I would like to have sailcloth, but I am unable to find a complete kit with sailcloth. I would appreciate any thoughts/ideas (good or bad) about purchasing a soft top.

Go to amazon and get the rampage top with upper doors and a get a bestop header bar. It will be cheaper then a stock top and stock top's suck let me tell you. The rampage is a frameless which is friggin awesome. ( I am buying it soon too)

I believe Bestop would have everything thing you need in a complete kit.

I had this same question back in September. I went with the Bestop Supertop as it comes with a frame. I bought it was JC Whitney. If you google coupons for them you'll find a wide variety, I saves 20%. I paid a local truck shop $165 to install it.

I've heard that the Rampages are super loud due to less restriction (no frame). Just FYI.

Bestop is coming out with a new Supertop NX in the next month or so. It will be nearly identical to the factory Sunrider tops and will have all the hardware you need included.

If you follow JD's advice and go for the Rampage bowless top, you'll still need some hardware. They are nice tops but more challenging to install/remove due to the lack of supporting hardware. Bestop is also coming out with a new version of the Trektop NX which is very similar in design to the Rampage bowless top. It will include the needed hardware as well. There are a few minor differences between the Trektop and the Rampage tops.

I will be in the same situation come spring,

I've had a complete best top for over 10 yrs. Replaced the fabric twice.

I have had no trouble with BT, it seems to be a little harder to fold back and is not like OEM, but it worked well.

First time hearing about the new BT, I'll check it out. Any links?
