Just wondering if there is anything stamped or written on soft top hardware to identify an oem top. Found a deal but hours away. They don't know if it is an oem top. Can't tell from pictures what it is. Waiting for better pictures. They say that it's from a tj. Any help would be appreciated
There should be a little patch-like thing inside the Jeep right above the dash in the very front part of the top. Usually right in the middle above where your radio would be
I'm guessing not all tops are marked the same way but one of my tops has markings on the hard plastic tab at the bottom of the rear sail panel -under here.....
Rear window and the windows on half door soft uppers also have markings in the bottom corners - but the windows don't necessarily reflect the make of softtop as they could have been purchased separately.
Thanks for the replies. Like I said I am waiting to see better pictures. It's like 4 hours away to see and the seller doesn't know what they have. I was hoping there was something I could tell her to look for to help her identify the top and framework
Got to Quadratec.com and their soft top advisor. They have pictures of frames. The OEM frame is pretty easy to identify. The fabric could have been replace with a number of brands.
