Soft Top in Fairbanks?

I am gearing up for a move from Nebraska to Fairbanks, AK. I have a soft top on my '06 Wrangler, and that's gotten me through the Nebraska winters with no problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on how it'll hold up to a Fairbanks winter??? I'm not concerned with road noise or being cold in the cab...those are facts of life I'm okay with. However, I'm more concerned with how the plastic windows will hold up to -50F temps and so forth. Anyone have soft tops in that part of the world that get along alright???

I would be careful on that one. I lived in Anchorage where the temps are much milder than Fairbanks. Expect extreme cold temps for a long period of time. You may even need to consider a engine block heater for up there. No scraping the windows and as cold as it gets -- it may be tough to keep the windows defrosted.

Coming out of winter now...and now worries! It was kept in the garage overnight, but was my primary vehicle all winter. No damage and no problems!
