Go to Bestop website. They have PDF instructions for all of their tops and hardware installations.

i just got done installing one about a week ago. SUPER easy. i've never messed with a soft top at all and it was done in about 30 minutes...and that time included some talking and dealing too (with the dude i bought it from)

Lay the pieces out and make sure you have everything first.

If it is warm, set the top out in the sun before you start. It will soften it and make it easier to fit the first time.

Attach the soft top to the soft top hardware header using several screws (around 10). Follow the instructions for mounting directions.

Attach the soft top to the rear-most bow using the velcro strapping.

Attach the hardware to the jeep following the directions. Once on, you can do the velcro around the center bow much easier. Do this BEFORE you secure the top down the rest of the way in front or in back.

yeah It was really hard fitting the top on cause I started to late in the day and by the time I was ready to put the top on the sun was down and it just wasnot stretching at all....

would wetting the top down help it stretch?

also I just wanted to point out to everyone that Quadratec has the FASTEST shipping I have ever seen. I paid normal shipping and ordered my top monday at about noon and the top came today (wed) at 2 PM .... they are a little over priced but its worth the customer service and fast shipping is worth it

nope, mine was an OEM top. my jeep already had the holes and everything on it already so all we had to do was put the bracket on the roll bar and mount the side bars to the bracket and put on the door surrounds...after that was done i just put it up like normal

This is the TJ 97-06 forum. 2010 is a JK and the top is different.
