soft top losing stitches

i have an 05 wrangler x soft top. while i was removing the passenger side window, the stiches holding the zipper peice came out so now the soft top has a hole in the seam. i also noticed that the seam over the rollbar looks like the stiches are loosing, could i just find an upholstry shop that does Rv awning and get it restitched or what would yall suggest? Not really wanting to spend approx. $400 on a new top.

try that or(at least by me) i'd try a boat cover shop. Most they can say is they don't/can't do that type of work but maybe point you to someone who does.

Upholstery, boat or awning shop, or you can pick up a leather sewing awl at a hobby/craft store and do it yourself. It's not hard.
