Soft top rear sliding window idea

i was wondering about a sliding window feature for soft top side windows similar to the half door upper sliders. thought it would be a neat idea for those ppl in sitting in the back to be able to crack the window slightly. what is everyone's thoughts.

With everything else that's made for the Jeep, why not? For everyone who drives topless there's somebody who doesn't. Wouldn't hurt contacting Bestop or others with your idea. You always have today's posting to show when YOU came up with the idea!

Well thats what i figured, if u were sitting in the back and just wanted some breeze it would be great, or take it out fully like soft top windows. Obviously ppl buy almost anything. I also like the idea of pop out opening windows for a hardtop. It gets hot with a hardtop on sunny days, rather than open the full hatch, pop out opening side windows give you some airflow just like on hatchbacks

I'd like to have the side and rear window to be able to unzip from the INSIDE ONLY. I know a thief would just cut the windows to gain entry, but a meddling teen might just go on,if he couldn't unzip from the outside....

I've got an aftermarket hard top on mine so I modified the hinges on the rear winodw so that when I have the top on & its hot out I take the back window out and take off my doors, I did get mirror relocating brackets so I don't have 2 wory about it not being legal. With it open like that helps a lot but taking out the rear side windows would make it even better.

Great idea!! I'd pick up a set if they were available. Even ones that would unzip from inside like kshaws said.
