soft top recommendation

Hi - this is my first post. I am the wife of a an 03 Rubicon owner. Best thing we have done in our 29 years of marriage is to buy this ole Ruby. We are looking at either getting a Trek NX or SuperTop NX. Do you have experience with these. We have watched all the marketing videos but would like your input based upon experience.

The Trek NX is cool but the SuperTop NX will make the interior a lot quieter due to its frame making the top taut so it won't boom/flap in the wind.

I had the same question! I want a complete super top but it don't come with the door surrounds or the trunk bar so I was thinking supertop nx...not a fan of the sunrider option though, seems like an area that could break.

The Sunrider comes standard with the Supertop NX but I've never used mine, it's a PITA to open since you have to unfasten the forward-most part of the soft top from where it snaps in around the door surround. It won't break if you don't use it, not that it appears weak or break-prone.

How is the trunk bar I have heard it is a lot smaller than the factory one. Never seen it for myself though!

Bestop is the OE manufacturer for all of the parts used by Jeep for the soft top including the trunk bar. The trunk bar that came with my Supertop NX doesn't seem any different than the OE trunk bar.

Well I do not have the Supertop but I do have a Sunrider opening and I LOVE IT. It's perfect. It only takes a coule minutes to open and if a great option a opposed to opening the entire top.

same here-great after work on nice days. roll up the rear, toss the sliders behind the rear seat and pop open the sunrider. takes no time and it's alot cooler ride home.
