Soft top windows... What to use?

So I've been reading the threads about soft top widows and what to use I clean them and I'm confused cuz there are so many different people saying to use this and not that and so on...

I have "Invisible Glass" window cleaner and microfiber towels at my house and I was wondering if those two things will work for cleaning them? Or will they scratch them?

From what I've read, people say that pledge works good... But what does pledge do? Is it a cleaner? Or a scratch remover? And can I actually use it?

Only a polish will remove scratches, Pledge only temporarily fills in scratches with wax so they aren't as noticeable.

Microfiber cloth works well but so does an old soft cotton towel, tshirt, or cloth diaper. Just never (!) use paper towels on plastic windows, they are made from wood products and will eventually ruin them.

Novus and Meguiar's plastic window polishes work extremely well. Plexus aerosol foaming cleaner is ok for a final polish but it won't take scraches out. Removing scratches with Novus or Meguiars is the best way but even using those products doesn't make the job easy. Removing scratches takes a lot of elbow grease with a multi-step polish so it's best to avoid putting scratches in plastic windows in the first place... like never wiping or rubbing them when they're dirty or using paper towels on them.

Where can I get Novus or Mcguiars?

And to get the mud/grime off of them would I just wipe em down with a wet rag?

Then use the cleaner?

Just use Google's shopping site at Google Product Search to find them. I'd probably just go with Novus since it is easier to find the type of kit you need from them. Get the multi-step product which works from a coarser to a finer polish. And when Googling, it is Meguiars, not McGuiars.

Rinse the window off with a hose, then use a little soapy water with a cloth to get the dirt off. Then use whatever polish you end up with.

Has anyone used the Mopar Soft Glass Cleaner? I got some from the dealer and wonder if it is any good?
