soft top zipper

i have a broken zipper on the rear flap of my soft top. other than that it is in great shape. is there a way to fix it? i really don't want to buy a whole new top just for the zipper.

My zipper was broken so I took it to a canvas / sail making shop and they sewed a new zipper in for me.

I had this problem a few days ago, I checked the internet and it said to use a screwdriver and open up the zipper slider to facilitate putting it back on then re crimp(DO NOT DO THIS) as I broke it. Being the Jeep newb that I am, I took it back to the dealer and he replaced the slider in about 5 minutes.

You can but a new slider and stop for a few $. It's a YKK #10. They are on ebay and jeepit.com

I took mine to a Marine Canvas place and they replaced the zipper for me. Took about an hour. I had them do both the rear sides because it's an old top anyway and it cost me $100.
