Some new Mods

yep, today I got some mods done on the jalopy. First group of mods was more for comfort since my new job requires a 60 mile round trip commute. So I got one of these:

after selling some stuff on ebay it wound up costing only $130. I got
the 80gb black ipod, but I found out that my current JVC doesn't work with the ipod (I thought it did). so I got a new stereo that does work with the ipod:

SO with the adapter, it will charge up my ipod and I can control it through the head unit. Here's my old stereo that's in great shape if anyone's looking:

The second mod was the addition of a steering box skid plate from FabTech. It ties into the fabtech bumper and took a while to line up all the bolts but once all of them were set it went in nicely. yep here's the photos:

I have the same stereo as your old one . You know of any good way to make it not skip so much, Michigan roads suck.

You know, I've never had that much of a problem with it skipping even when I've been wheelin'.
Yep, the skid plate is made out of 1/4" steel. I got it from Quadratec for $49.99 plus shipping.
