Im guessing you are talking about the bolts holding the top on. Use a ratchet with a T45 (torx) head from Kragen, Home Depot, etc. Get one of the complete packs of torx because you are going to need them. Get really good quality, or else you will be stripping them out.

If they are the stock bolts, then like Fred1 said. Torx bolt on top, rectangular threaded nuts under the tub rail. You should have a set of torx head sockets by now anyway. If not, it's time to get some.
If the hardtop has been on for awhile, the rear portion (under the side windows) may be stuck on the weather stripping. I find it easier to break it free by pushing up on the front of the top (near the windshield latches) which provides easy leverage to break the top free from the tub. I found this method by trial and error. I used to get in the back of the Jeep and push up. Way easier to do it from the front.
Good luck, and happy topless-ness!

Awesome thanks to all...and my bolts were T40's for some reason. undernath my tub they have some kind of rectangular "no spin" nuts. So I ppicked up T bits with 3/8 heads to match my wratchet set. all the way up to T55. Now watch I will need a T70 for something..lol Anyways my method to get this off with a buddy...Lifft one side.. place roled towel under, repeat other side..Put gloved hands under rear sides 50% back from door and other hand on the top of door area and lift and walk her back!
