In my 2004, you can either fit 4x6 or 4.25 with an inexpensive adapter. I run alpine and I like them but everyone has their preferences.

I am not sure what you mean about the "ten that goes in the console." Can you clarify? As far as an amp, I think you can pretty much put in there whatever you can fit under a seat or in the back behind the rear seat.

Many others may speak up but you want 5.25 up front with Nalinhttp://www.nalinmfg.com/

adapters in the front and 6.5 in the soundbar. I went with Polk Audio. Fairly inexpensive and marine rated. As for a sub checkout Inifinty Basslnk.

I'm telling you skip all this BULL____ and go right to the wakeboard tower speaker cannons. I have 2 and 2 8" subs on a little 400 watt amp and you can hear it 400 yards away easily. It projects sound so far and sounds amazing.

Ok, I have not seen that center sub console aftermarket ni just replaced the son in mine, but if you are adding a sub I think I would go with some boxed subs and an aftermarket amp for the price.

I got the front speaker adapters off amazon for around $20 and they worked great.

You might as well throw some marine speakers in your grille just to be positive that you are pissing everyone off.

Don't go crazy on subs.. Just get a couple 8" subs.. Saves space, power and will sound better.. For a jeep you need loudness. (Hard to hear with the top off) google mtx boat speakers wakeboard tower

Get the Infiniti Basslink. Installed one about 6 weeks ago. Plenty of bass. Won't hit real low but kicks real hard. Highly recommend.

keep it cheap, two indoor out door satellite speakers from a flea market 10-15 bucks ... fasten to back rollbar just behind seatbelts by tailgate, dollar store extension cord probably 8 ft long cut off plug and outlet, this will be your speaker cables for the satellite speakers. then make your own bracket for ur new front speakers by using old stock speakers a template, i used an old dvd player case as my bracket cut out bracket with jigsaw, then buy a pair of 5.25 speakers off ebay i think i payed $25 off ebay for boss speakers now available at pepboys , cut metel pieces that are not allowing you to put new speakers in, with just a regular metal blade no need for use saw just use blade. then buy a 6 inch bazooka tube got used for 70 bucks also available at most flea markets or craiglist... will be plenty loud, but not excessively loud.....

That's some real hooptie shit right there. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I wouldn't do that to my jeep.

I have the brackets from nalin... they're + a couple bucks from the ones on amazon but he's a good dude going to school vs some Chinese mfg. Just email him, throw him the cash via paypal, and he'll have them out to you priority mail.

For sound in my jeep: 5.25 in front using brackets and 5.25 in pods ('05). You honestly don't need bigger in the pods, they're right over your head and will over power the fronts easily. Infinity's all around for those, with the crossover. http://www.amazon.com/Infinity-529I-...inity+speakers

The 4-chan amp (F30 alpine) for those is in the center console where the sub used to be, but you could get the alpine mini-amp unit instead. I have one 12in sub in the back, 600W RMS, the amp is 550W mono (M55 alpine) is attached to the box. Sounds pretty good, imo, comparing to my upgraded bmw system.

I wouldnt spend much more on a sound system for a jeep either. Jeeo acoustics suck, sound goes right out the windows anyways. And anything aftermarket thats audible or visible is a thief magnet - thats the main reason ive left my audio stock.

Even if I could afford to lose the whole sound system, I would be royally pissed. Not to mention the cost of fixing the soft top they slashed or dashboard they crow-barred to get to the components.

Best part of mine is, everything except the old alpine $20 CD player is bolted down. And the face on the cd player is removable. So anyone wanted to remove my stereo it would take a good 40 min to unbolt the speakers and amp
