Southeast missouri off road ranch

Hey guys. I was thinking about making a trip to smorr and was wondering if anybody has been there? What do you guys think about it? Would it be worth a 3 hour drive to get there? My rig is lightly modified right now, so I don't need any extreme trails yet...

Do a Youtube search for SMORR and you'll get an idea of the terrain there.
From the videos I saw, looks like its Medium to Difficult.

A couple of my friends & I were talking about hitting SMORR or Disney this summer/fall
but that all depends on the gas price situation

I have been a couple of times and it is definitely worth the drive. It's about an hour or so from me and trails are mild to wild. I see plenty of stock jeeps getting around just fine. Only problem I had was the trails aren't marked all that well. Me and some buddies plan on going as much as we can this spring and summer. We are gonna camp out for the weekend and make it worth our while. Check out this bestop video it shows you some of the trails they have...

I am about 70 miles from there and it is worth every mile. Go to SMORR, Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch - Home and check it out. Great people, clean facilities. They have added new trails and trail signs this last year so it is easier to know where you are.
dang, snwchris beat me to the link. I guess I need more coffee.

For you people in MO it's 4.5 hours from St. Louis down here to Turkey Bay. Lots of good trails and almost all the really good spots have go arounds. There is a 3 day pass for $15 or $60 a year. Lots of camping both in the offroad park and several others in the surrounding park (LBL). If you want there are cabins and motels just outside of LBL. It's a good place to learn for newbies and just as good to test your newest major upgrade. If you do a Youtube search for turkey bay there are tons of vids.

Its a blast but you should go with someone who has been before or body damage will likely occur hehe

Thanks buildembig! I looked up washita, looks fun. I do plan to get someone to go with me, just don't have many jeep buddies around here.
