Spare Tire???

How bad is it to roll around town without my spare on? i was wanting to buy a rear interior rack and mount the tire on it at a 45 but until then was wondering if i could get away with out the tire on the tailgate. Probably for a month or so? it would never be more than 30-45 minutes away tops and i always got family and friends to come help out like 20 people lol....plus i carry a compressor and plug kit with me.

Need more information:

Is the spare tire that same size as the other 4?

What are you asking here? Are you allowed to drive around without a spare? Yes. You can do whatever you want, it's a free country. Are you going to get made fun of for not having a spare? No. A ton of jeeps don't have them on the back- usually because the owner prefers the look of the flat tailgate without the tire/carrier. Why a month or so? You can roll that way forever if you wanted. My advice. keep the tire on. it's a lot easier than having to plug a tire....

My wife's car has no spare. Has no jack. Has no tire tools. Has a light that tells you when air is low. Has $250 per tire runflats.

No dip stick either.

Shut up, y'all.

I'll have to go around Ohio if I'm travelling. There isn't even a place to carry a spare.

(My suitcases are full of clothes)

First flat you get on the road, you'll regret that decision.

If you are driving locally then I'd say you can probably get by without one.
