Spare tire question

Bought a new spare... 31 10.5 15 and the bolts aren't long enough it won't fit on the stock spare holder any quick easy fixes for this?

Put some washers or spacers of some sort behind the stock carrier. The reason it probably doesn't fit is the extra width of the tire hitting the bumpers on the gate.

Behind it? That will make the bolts shorter...

Behind the carrier, not the studs. You need the carrier to come away from the gate to allow extra clearance for the wider tire

Or remove/cut down the rubber bumps on the tailgate.
