Spare tire removal

Whats up guys,
I recently removed the spare tire and spare tire mount from the back of my jeep. I was wondering if I should do anything to the existing bolt holes to prevent rust, or do you think they will be fine?

I think I left the rubber bumpers installed on mine. But you could use some silcone, or even get a nylon bolt I guess to insert and keep the water out.
