Speaker replacement

Does anyone know if the Rockford Fosgate P165 speakers will fit in the sound bar of my 99 Sport? I have searched the forums and seen there are quite a few 6.5" that will fit without modifications, but nothing on the Fosgates. I am looking to take advantage of Crutchfield's buy one get one half of Fosgate sale to replace all the stock speakers. I am going to put the 5.25" in the dash and run all 4 off the stock head unit.

Thanks in advance

Just reading the fitting guide on Crutchfield's website states that the P165s don't fit the roll bar sound bar. But then again, it tells me that nothing will fit the 99 TJ... It does say the P152s will fit, though.

Jeep. There's a reason the Postal Service has been using them for over 50 years!

I put a 6.75 in the soundbar. Almost any 6 1/2 or 6 3/4 will work unless magnet sits to deep. Even then you can make a spacer to accommodate
