If you haven't decided on new speakers yet, check out the Polk Audio marine line. Very nice sound, decent price, water proof. They're a definitely upgrade and the plate speaker version of the 4x6 (DB461P, I believe) will perform at the level of a much bigger speaker.

ya im replacing my dash speakers with 5.25. ill be getting boom mats to help the sound and the rattling. ill check out polk audio as well

Getting stuck is never an option

Thanks for the recommendation TJ Speed, I just ordered these speakers, and I'm going to move my 5.25 infinity references currently in the sound pods to the dash with brackets I just bought from ebay....oh yeah!

Just finished installing 5.25" in the front with boomats and 6.5" JBL in the top pods, along with some baffling of pillow stuffing.

Had to dremmel to get the 6.5" to fit. Sounds 100% better. Only issue is the bass is rattling my dome light covers....either got to pop them out or figure out how to get them to fit snugger.
