Speakers / Sound

So I've read the post saying to use "ploy-fill" in the sound bar when replacing the speakers.

My question - would it be the same to use foam rubber padding and stuff that in there - and could I also use the same in/around the dash speakers and get the same results as the poly fill?

Foam rubber padding? Like styrofoam or what? Pics? It's the principle it's not the material. Keeping the peaks and valleys of the sound waves from interfering by dampening the waves coming from the back.

I wouldn't bother with the dash speakers and don't really think it makes too much difference with the soundbar speakers. Those polyfill are more noticeable for cleaning up low freqs of subwoofers.

Poly fill is what is in a pillow. You can get a bit bag in a fabric or craft store.
