Spending tax money on "needs" not "wants"

Ok guys, I think instead of blowing some tax money on "wants", I'm going to spend it on "needs" and "preventative maintenance". (SCORE BROWNIE POINTS WITH THE WIFE) I know, I know, I'm a nerd and I sound BORING!!! But, my daily driver has run 17,000 miles in one year and the mileage is getting up there. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with this jeep and I'd like to plan ahead in order to keep it that way.
I'm looking at spending some money on....
1) Tune up- what ALL do I need and where to buy parts? 02 sensor?
2) Brakes- all 4 corners- pads on front are getting thin, but rear I have no idea so I plan to go ahead and replace them too. Where to buy?
3) Axle seals- if they show no leaks, don't worry? Or good idea to replace them? Where to buy?
4) Diff fluid- front and rear....What type? I have an 2002 Sport, if that helps.
5) Radiator flush- what type of replacement? It's orange now.

Any other suggestions on what to look at replacing that can be done by a shade tree, cuss word speakin, panic ridden, do-it yourselfer?

Thanks for the replys.

I just went thru and did some needed maintainence . . . Here's what I did:

Spark Plugs (NGK)
Flushed Diffs (Mobile 1 or Royal Purple)
Flushed Tranny (Mopar Manual Trans Fluid)
Flushed TC (ATF+4)
Replaced Air Filter
Cleaned Throttle Body
Changed Engine Oil and Filter
Rotated Tires
Checked Brakes
Replaced Worn Suspension Bushings
Rebuilt Rear and Replaced Front Driveshafts
I'd recently flushed the cooling system

That was pretty much all I could think of . . . Jeep is running smoother, not idling rough, or ticking like it was. The new bushings took the slop out of my handling too.

Schmo, It looks like you have a manual transmission. What is flushed TC ATF+4 .Is TC transfer case ? and why automatic transmission fluid? Learn me on this!

Transfercase is gear driven on my '02 Sport and uses ATF+4 as Smhmo stated. I run Royal Purple Syncromax in the tranny. Can't recall what I'm running in the diffs (44 and 30) but I did have to make sure the oil would work with the TrakLock that's in the 44.

Okay, awhile back I topped of my manual 6 speed with pennsoil manual fluid. It was about half a quart low. It helped with that grinding between 1st and 2nd. Where would the drain and fill plugs be for the transfer case. Is that further back under the large skid plate?

Yes the TC is the transfer case . . . the service manual calls for ATF+4, but from what I've heard, the TC isn't picky and will will be happy with other stuff too, but I was trying to keep everything up to snuff as I'm still covered by an extended warranty and didn't want any issues down the line. I have the manual 6 speed tranny. I use either Mobile 1 or Royal Purple in my diffs . . . I have D44's F&R so I use the 75/140 stuff.
