Put a hairdryer to them and it heats up and releases the glue. Will peel right off but then have some grime off or similar to remove any remaining adhesive. Works like a charm!

This is the best thing! I used it on mine to get the dealership sticker off and another sticker I screwed up. Works and does not mar the paint!!!

Jeep has done a fantastic job of branding the word Rubicon. On one of my Old TJ's i had a Rubicon Express sticker in place of the Sport sticker.. would have folks ask how I liked my Rubicon and if it did good off road. 1st few times it took me a second to make the connection. In some cases it was just easier to say , yes it is... vs the 10 min conversation of no its not and i know it says rubicon but not that rubicon... lol

It was a sport when I bought it.

While I don't like anyone putting Rubicon stickers on a non rubicon, I also take offense to broad statements putting down a sport. If you were to say " a stock sport" I would back you 100 percent, but you said "any sport". If you couldn't tell I own a sport. It has a Dana 44 up front, Ford 8.8 in the rear, ARB lockers front and rear, 4:1 transfer case, 35's, 4:56 gears, 4.5 inch suspension lift and 1.5BL, disconnects on the sway bar, and it is still a sport. I would gladly put it up against your beloved rubi. Not looking at starting anything here, just my two cents.

Carry on.

I agree. It's tough to say any Rubi can out do any sport. This is false. Stock vs stock is a different story.

I bought my 06 2door unlimited rubicon because I knew I would never go through the trouble of lifting and upgrading a jeep. But if I planned on upgrading anything I wouldnt have wasted the money on my rubi.

Rubicon isn't a waste even if you upgrade. You will waste thousands upon thousands of dollars playing catch up to a rubicon. A rubi is always the way to go.

So what if I want to build a TJ on 37s or 40s? Your telling me it would have been cheaper to buy a Rubicon only to rip out the axles in favor of tons, and the transfer case in favor of an Atlas?

It depends on HOW you want to build your Jeep and HOW you wheel, and what your technical abilities are. Rubicons have their place, but they aren't for everyone...

Why someone would put "steal me now" rubi stickers on sport is beyond me. Hell if I had a rubi i'd debadge it in the dealer parking lot while waiting for the paperwork ...you never know who's eyeballing your stuff.

So I take it that everyone going off on a rant about advertising a Sport as a Rubi didn't actually read the first post?

I'm all for personal choice, a Rubi for me and a sport for you, build it how you want. I built my Rubi the way I wanted and am happy, other guys build their Sports, Seirras and Xs how they want. What it comes down to is we all love our Jeeps and it is wrong to sell something that it isn't.
