Spotlight on TJ

The PO installed this,I would like to get rid of it and put KC lights by my windshield. Any ideas on how I could seal up or cover up that hole from the spotlight? Need ideas please!

I would consider keeping the spotlight. I have never seen one installed on a jeep TJ and i think winshield lights are not as good as some present them. You do get some reflection off the hood with windshield lights. If it were me I would put nice lights on the bumper and keep the spotlight, I think it is different.

I was thinking about installing one on my jeep My firehouse has a few spares. Would make good for double checking some iffy spots at night

Keep it, they can be handy, and they are not cheap.

Yeah I've been told to keep it, its just that it heats up pretty dang fast and isn't as bright as I want it to be. I'll probably just change out the light!

They are kinda bright. I know one of our officers that uses it to keep his hands warm in the winter. Looks like it might need a new lens but they are really really handy to have.

Replace the light with an LED setup.

They have a tendency to cloud up. Had one on my first cruiser that was so cloudy it looked like you had shining thru limo tint. Either a new lense or a conversion should make you change your mind. Whelen LED Spotlight Replacement PAR46 P46SLC something like this. Just did a police spotlight conversion search. Not sure if that is the best price or not. A directional light has a ton of uses.

This, then make yourself a bat sillohuette out of some thin sheetmetal and attach it dead center to the lens.
