Will it also work with the factory skid/crossmember?

Also how/where does the front of the skid attach too?

Thanks.

Nicolas - have you tried finding a freight forwarder here in the states?

We have a couple of New Zealand customers who found a place that specializes in shipping stuff to New Zealand - we ship it to an address in the states and they ship it to them handling customs, duties, etc... pretty fast too..

Maybe there is one specializing in shipping to Germany...

yes. i found some freight forwarder.
but they cost twice than the UPS international shipping rates that 4wd.com or quadratec.com offer.

i´d like tp buy your TC and auto tranny skid because they´re better than the stock TC skid and the thin warn tranny skid that i have just now.

It should fit in older TJs.
But they don´t ned this skid plate. Older TJs have a tranny oil pan thats higher than the frame.

The thin Warn Pil Pan skid plate fits in TJs from 97-06.

But only 03-06 TJs with auto tranny really need it, because the tranny oil pan is too deep.

No pics - goes to the undersid eof the mototr moutns like many others.

Problem with UPS international - is sometheing we run into with Canadian customers - the shiping price looks good and cheap - but man do they get their but kicked on brokerages fees.

Pre-03's can still bennifit. BUT - one thing we don't want to do is create a 1 skid fits all approach liek other companies do. We feel it makes a skid plate that is compromised for both vehicles. Where we could optimize one for the 03+ and the Pre-03's by making 2 completley different skids. FOr instance pre-03's maybe able to have even more ground clearance due to the smaller size of the 231 Tcase, and lower profile stock tranny mounts.

We do have plans to make pre-03 skids - right now it's a matter of finding good pre-03 candidates to perform R&D on.

I have a perfect 99 you can play with sitting in the garage.

But it seems you alittle far away.

Please let us know when you get some developed.

Yeah I wish but it's 8 1/2 hour drive from here. Gas would be more than the plates and then cash for the plates.

Wish I could help you out bud but the cost of the fuel and then the plate would be a little high.

@dave:

Do you sell your stuff to other companies that ship to Europe like quadratec.com or 4wd.com?
I really need a strong belly-up TC skid and a strong tranny skid plate. Your plates look very solid to me.

Btw. the thin Warn 1/8" oil pan skid mounted to the stock TC skid looks like this after winching over only one steep sand heap. The tranny oil pan is bent now and i loose a small amount of oil over the night.

We don´t do any rock crawling ere in Germany. It was only soft offroadig on sand and that bent the skids...here you can see how it happend:

No, we only sell direct.

You can arrange a freight forwarder - or even open a UPS or FedEx account of your own. Then when the item is ready to ship you can issue a call tag for it.
