I recently replaced my clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, slave cylinder, etc. in my 99 tj sport. A few miles after I replaced all this, I started having a squeaking/squealing when going down the road. It would squeak only when having some speed and it wouldn't matter if the clutch was engaged or disengaged. When squeaking, I can push in the cluch and the sound WILL NOT change. It will only stop squeaking when I get down to around 15 MPH and less. Sometimes, it won't squeak at all and sometimes, it will drive you crazy! It went for a while without doing it and I just thought it had worked itself out. Now it's back!
What could this be? What did I do/not do right during the install of a new clutch to cause this?
