If you need to replace it I'm gonna buck the trend and tell you to just go to Napa and get a Monroe stabilizer. It is the EXACT same shock as the Rancho. They are both made by the same company and the Monroe is about half of what the rest of them are. Should only run like 30 bucks.

How the heck do you wear out a steering stabilizer, technically you should be able to run without one, it really just kinda helps. Now my factory one leaked all over my front skid on the XJ and pretty much just rusted out on both TJ's. I just picked up a couple of monroes from the parts store for the TJ's. The XJ got a Rancho and that one I had done, could not get that tapered bolt out of the XJ to save my life. If you are wearing them out I would look and try to see why. Up here in the NE it's that nasty road stuff they use in the winter.

Before you replace the stabilizer I would make sure everything is in good working order. A steering stabilizer shouldn't wear out that fast. Have you had a good alignment done lately?

Back when I cared what happened to my junk I used to puncture them while wheeling with my Currie Steering on there.
