Recently bought my first jeep wrangler. It is a 2000 wrangler sport and I love this thing, but I have a strange question. People are always taking pic standing on their jeep and on their fender flares, so I was wondering if I could do the same thing? Can I?
My favorite spot to sit/stand on my jeep (besides the drivers seat) is the roof rack. Great views if you park in the right spot. But I would suggest buying a roof rack first...
i stand and sit on my cowl all the time but i weigh 130 lbs soaking wet so i don't think i can't do much damage but i wouldn't get on the hood way to weak to hold weight
Between me climbing on it and tree branches with a side of rocks flying I'm not worried about scratches anymore if it gets too bad Ima have a bedlined jeep lol
An even cooler picture would be you ghost walking it on the trail. You put it in 4lo get out and take pictures walking next to it. Pick a tough trail for more cred. Also try posting your question on Pirate4x4.
I bought my TJ used. The only dents it had were on the hood and cowl where the previous owner was convinced to pose for photos in her bikini. You can stand. Anywhere you want. Just expect the damage for doin something stupid.
Ghost Walking it ! Lol. That's too damn funny !
I would pay to see that. Lol.
Stand on whatever you want. It's yours ! Maybe you should KEY it as well ! Haha. Or take a box cutter to your soft top.
I can stand on my genright fenders all day long. Even jump on em. Its a great place to stand when you need a higher point of view, great for leaning on and standing/sitting on when wrenching a lifted jeep, and its just cool to have a fender thats tough enough to be stood on.
at least you know the tire carrier can easily handle that 40" tire you wanted to put on your liberty...
