starter

alright, i have a 2000 sport and i went threw some deep water and my starter stoped working anyone else had this problem? is there saposed to be some kinda seal to keep the water from getting into your starter or something? anyway any help would be awsome thx in advance guys.

I've ran deep water more than a few times and not had any issues. May be a bad starter.

i dont know i just know it wasnt out of warenty yet so i took it to the shop and they said when they took down my starter water came out of it and that that killed the starter but then i see these people driveing threw crazy shit and there is no way that someone is just putting new starters on there jeep every time they go threw mud....

its 8 years old chances are its not the first time its seen deep water ........i would just buy a new one and not worry about water proofing ......ive gone thru a lot of water and mine still works..........sort of.......
