Try what jimsjeep said. If it starts right away then it could be a problem in your fuel pump. Fuel pump is designed to hold pressure in your fuel rail while the engine is turned off. That way there is fuel present up top when you hit the key to start the engine. Some people refer to this as the check valve in the fuel pump. Try it and see what happens. Turn the key to the run position, you will here the fuel pump run, wait 5 seconds then try to start. There are many threads on here about this. Try searching hard start or something similar.
