so my budget is around 900 and the tires i decided on are 530

where is somewhere good to look for 15x8 wheels?

at the same time... i absolutely love these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15-8-...spagenameZWDVW however someone told me because of the backspacing listed that it would not work

They look like stock ravine wheels just painted black, my unlimited came with those wheels and 30x9.50x15 tires and I had no rub. Where are you located at?
There are a few sets of wheels and tires here for sale. someone might be able to give you a good deal.

With 31x10.50 tires, you could even run stock wheels which have from 5.25" to 5.5" of backspacing so no, you don't have to remain at 4" or under of backspacing. A 9.5" wheel is still a little too wide for a 31x10.50 tire.

I live on the other side of the state, I'll give you a good deal on 5 wheels not 4 like the ebay ad with 30" tires included.

For 31's i really wouldnt worry about your backspacing too much...almost any 15x8 wheel will work

The only time you're really going to have to worry about backspacing is if you plan on going to 32's or larger.

For wheels you can check out the many 4x4 stores on the internet or check ebay or your local craigslist.

Again unless you plain on going larger that 31's in the future dont worry about your backspacing so much and just go with a 15x8 wheel that you really like

I'm rockin these wheels on my TJ, "Lucy" and they look great! After chewing up way too many aluminum wheels over the years, it's steel or no wheel for me!

we talked over aim... so i understand his goals.. he wants to run 33s eventually but for now he just wants to get rid of the stock 27s and go w/ something decent... whats the point of getting rims now to fit the 31s and then getting new rims to fit the 33s?... thats why hes better off getting the right bs rims now..

Oh alright he never stated that on this thread though thats why i was confused. Well if 33's are in the plan you're right triple, deffinitely better off getting rims with 4" or less backspacing...

Wheel spacers are also another possibility but that would be another added expense after new rims...if 33's are in the plans listen to triple and get wheels with 4" or less backspacing

i don't think you would be able to run 12.50's on that wheel without spacers. so you may wanna look into a different wheel if your wanting to run 12.50's without spacers.

they would be fine for 10.50's though.

yeah it all deppends if you are seriously wanting to run 33's in the future. For 31x10.5 bfg at's those wheels will work perfect. But if 33's are deffinitely in your plan you may want to look into a wheel with more backspacing...

Another option would be to get those wheels and then if you want to run 33's eventually just get 33x10.5's when you're ready to run 33's instead of 33x12.5's.

By the way those wheels are tires will work fine on your jeep, no problems at all

spacers cost more than steelies lol.. ~100 bucks a pair and you need 2 so 200 bucks for spacers to make it look stock in my opinion is not worth it...

200+shipping=~250ish
