I remember at one point someone said you could get a set of 4 black steelies for $134 or something like that. Where?

I found a set of 5 craiger soft 8's for $190 shipped. dealer is kryptonitecustomsworks.com

set of 5, 15X8, 4" backspacing, with the 5X4.5 lug pattern. this is the site I found the pricing on for the rims:

Hate to say it but Quadratec has them for less than anywhere I can find - $36.99. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92601_4XX_B_PG.htm

As far as "local" there is a jeep shop/supplier in Wylie, TX (NE of Dallas) that has them for $38.99 and they have an ebay store. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black...6202QQtcZphoto

If you find some cheaper than that let me know.

The ones I need are 10in wide, they are $44ea. so it comes out to $174 which is still a good price.

Yes, you can run a 12.50 tire on an 8" rim with no problems at all. A lot of people think it's easier to keep a bead at lower pressures with 8" rims.
