steering box upgrade

picked up the 99 Durango Box for a 318.. began removing the old,, bolt to the steering shaft Check. three mounting bolts, tough but check, nut on pitman arm,, big impact gun check,, P A puller FIGHT! soaking it in PB blaster!, hyd. lines reservoir line check 18mm bye the way,, pressure line Fight I spun it line a cork screw,, new line will be here Sat. NOT CHEAP!.. any help on the pitman arm would be kewl,, kind of sketchy on using heat seeing's how I have leaking fluid everywhere

I dont know what you are trying to say, but it seems that your wasting your time on some kind of "upgrade steering box".

and as far as wasting my time the 97 steering box was leaking badly. I search this and other forums and all give the thumbs up to the Durango swap.... thumbs up meaning its a good idea!

I did the Durango upgrade too, pitman arm was a pain! once I go the box off I just kept tightening and beating the puller with a hammer finally came off, I didn't have heat

figure I will let the PB blaster soak tonight and get to wrenching and beating on it Sat.
