steering wheel squeeks, clutch hard to push

after going in some mud, doing some donuts and just getting a little muddy the other night, my steering wheel squeeks when i turn it, might have to do with one of my pins in the steering column. not sure, does anyone know?

also, after the mud, my clutch is sticking, a little hard to push down.

did you REALLY clean your rig afterward? Seriously, clean the engine bay components and the entire undercarriage + all the nooks and crannys?

Buy some white lithium grease in an aerosol spray can and spray the steering shaft where it passes through the rubber boot on the firewall. That will solve the squeaking for probably at least several years.

it is not clean at all right now as you can tell by the picture but its starting to get warmer so i'm going to give it a really good wash down and i'll get the bay and under carriage real good.

and @Jerry Bransford, i'll try that out thanks!
