Stinger or standard grill guard?

Hey ya'll. So, I am trying to decide on which aftermarket bumper would be better for my 2002 TJ.

A Stinger? Or a Grill Guard?

Stinger argument:
Pros:
-Will stop a frontwards rollover
-Gives a Jeep a more aggressive look
-Helps with angle of arrival and angle of departure
-If a Deer hits it, it will more than likely go under the Jeep, versus going
over it and possible tearing through the cab

Cons:
-More likely to cause more damage to a vehicle if in a collision, and more
likely to hurt or kill someone in a collision too
-I feel like a Stinger would look kind of odd my Jeep, because I do not have a big lift or huge
tires (Every Jeep I see with a Stinger has a big lift and big tires)

Grill guard argument:
Pros:
-Depending on which one i'd get, might be cheaper over the stinger
-Will protect the whole front of my Jeep (Grill, fenders, wheels), versus a
Stinger only protecting the grill area of my Jeep
-Gives a Jeep a more menacing look

Can I get ya'll opinion on my question please?

Thank ya'll!

personally unless you wheel it rough you'll be better with a grill guard.

I would imagine that a stinger, or like the brush guard posted above, the fact that it is angled away from and thus farther from the jeep would give a little buffer room in case of an accident. It would have more room to bend before hitting the jeep. That's. Just my opinion, and I could be completely off there. Just a guess.

honestly stinger wont be any different in my opinion than a brush guard. People say it gets in way with parking... not even it helps i think shows u how close u are actually to the car haha. it def helps with roll over and the protection of the radiator.

I gotta admit; I searched for this thread to find out one answer to one question: "What is the stinger FOR?" Coz i really really really REALLY want one, since i think they look tuff....but I am not a hard-core rock-crawler by any stretch. I don't wanna make people laugh...well, I don't really care that much, actually, but I wanted something to say when people say "Why does your bumper poke out so far?" Thanks; I got it now. Well, almost. I will say that....well, I'll say something. I don't know what for sure....but stingers just look so dad-gum COOL!!!!! And cool ain't something I normally care about! But...ARGHGHGHGHGhghghhghghghghgh....~sigh~. Ok, done now. I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!! Pancakes, too. Also, Random Words Blurted via Fingertips.

what I have been told it helps with dropping off something with front roll over if u started to go forward... helps with pushing deer down to a certain degree depending on speed. side roll over helps with releaving strain on the hood/radiator and puts it on the windshield/ top and the tip of the stinger depending on how big it is.

Check out Poison spyder they make a bad ass stinger one for 209 and a beastlier one for 375
